The menu is different as well, compared to the first game of the series. This addition will be featured in the next games as well. The nitrous oxide injection allows players to accelerate the motorcycle for a short time. The damage is not the same regardless of which weapon is used, because each attack produces its own amount of damage. The fighting system has been improved with the addition of another weapon, the chain. After all the five tracks are won, the player advances to another level, with longer tracks, better opponents and higher stakes.įew other features the game comes with are at a gameplay level. In the first version, the fourth place was counted as a qualifying place as well, but things changed with the second version. Players have to be placed on the first three places to pass to the next level. The split-screen multiplayer alone makes this a better game than the original Road Rash! It runs pretty damn well too, even if you do only have a small bit of the screen to make. A good friend of mine and I would play the hell out of this game back in the day. What really made this a firm favorite of mine as a kid was the multiplayer. You can come off your bike which like in all the other games is annoying as you can go flying a million miles way of your bike! Biking And Fighting With Friends I liked this and being able to use chains and clubs is a lot of fun. As well as watching out for cars and going off the road, you get to fight as well. That is because once you win a race in each area, you have to do another set of races and the difficulty spike is pretty severe her. Better bikes have a speed boost that you can use and you certainly want one of these bikes sooner than later. The idea is that you make more and more money so that you can get a better bike. When you start your game, you are given a small amount of money which you use to purchase a bike. The levels do all kind of look the same, but I will not hold that against the game as this is a game where you cannot really take your eyes of the road anyway or you will crash. The game also features a pretty badass soundtrack that is perfectly fitting for the racing action. I guess, you could argue that not a great deal has changed here, but I am happy with that.

The third game in the series went for a more “realistic” kind of style, but with Road Rash 2 they have kept it the same style as the first game. It is basic stuff by today's standards, but it is a massive amount of fun.
You have to win a race in each area and you then progress to a more challenging one. You will be going to five different areas in Road Rash 2 which are, Hawaii, Arizona, Tennessee, Alaska, and Vermont. You do this by going around the USA and taking part in a series of illegal road races. The goal of the game is to be the best biker around. However, if you time it just right, you can snatch away their weapons and use them yourself! Watch out for nasty players carrying spiked bats and chains. Sound easy? Not! You face a field of 14 other racers, all determined to punch, slap, and kick you off the road if they get the chance. Finish in the top third on each track and you advance to the longer, and more treacherous, upper levels. There are five levels (each with five tracks) set in different parts of the United States - Hawaii, Alaska, Vermont, Tennessee, and Arizona. Your only controls are the brakes, throttle, and attack buttons. You control a high-powered racing bike from a sharp third-person, behind-the-bike perspective.
